The British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT Renewable Resources) will be celebrating National Forest Week this year with a special day of sharing our forestry heritage and profession with the whole BCIT community and the general public. The event will take place at the main Burnaby campus (3700 Willingdon Ave, Burnaby BC V5G3H2) and run from 10 am to 3 pm at the revamped BCIT Gateway building (Building # SW01). Access is via the main entrance off Canada Way, where paid public parking is available. Click here to view a map of the BCIT Burnaby Campus.

BCIT Renewable Resources is hosting the event with participation from organizations involved in the management of forests and natural areas, including forestry companies, contractors, consultants, associations, government (provincial and municipal) and First Nations. Exhibitors will be given a table and chairs for their booth, along with a power connection.

The event is a great opportunity to showcase each organization and how all contribute to the sustainability of our communities, environment and economy.
