The Northwestern Ontario Section of the Canadian Institute of Forestry presents:

Kiss Your Ask Goodbye? The Emerald Ash Borer Tour.

This event is set to take place during National Forest Week on Wednesday, September 21 from 4-6pm (the Northwestern Ontario CIF Section’s AGM is to follow at 6:30pm). Meet us at Waverly Park at the base of the stairs to Lakehead University’s Law Building (previously PACI) where we will travel on foot to several stops, each with a speaker.  On this walk, speakers will address the following questions: what is the emerald ash borer, how did it get here, and what can we do? Following the tour there will be a food truck on site.

Speakers Include:

Taylor Wright, Invasive Species Centre

Shelley Vescio, City of Thunder Bay

Vince Rutter, Rutter Urban Forestry
